Daycare Center Details
Enrollment Process:
Come in and pick up an application. There is a
$50 enrollment fee that holds your childs
place. This is a one time fee, and never needs
to be paid again even if you take a break from
daycare.
Rest Area:
After lunch, the kids all nap on the floors in
our play rooms. The older kids who dont
usually take naps go into the smaller room and
watch a movie after a short quiet time. The
younger kids go into the bigger room where
they sleep from about 12:15 until about 2:30.
Play Area:
We have two play rooms and a good-sized play
area outside. Our toys are cleaned every week,
more often when needed.
There are a lot of toys for children to play
with. Lots of cars, 3 sizes of lego-type
blocks, baby dolls, dress up clothes, and many
other things to keep the kids entertained.
Outside we have a fenced area to play in.
There are two swingsets, a tether-ball, and
tractor tires on our playground. There is also
a black-top area for kids to ride cars and
scooters, and draw with chalk.
Learning Area:
Preschool is held in the bigger of our two
rooms. Miss Lisa teaches the kids everything
that they will need in order to be successful
in kindergarten and beyond.
Supplies Required:
Please provide a blanket/mat and a small
pillow (travel size works best). Even if
children do not nap, they are required to lay
down for quiet time. Small stuffed animals are
also acceptable for nap time.
We discourage bringing toys for the most part,
as they are easily lost and not as easily found.
Food Provided:
Breakfast and lunch are provided every day. At
breakfast, children can choose from breakfast
bars, various cereals, french toast sticks,
bagels, and other various items.
Lunch is different every day. A monthly menu
is posted on the parent board and on the website.
Transportation:
Parent drop-off and pick-up.
There is bus transportation to and from Birch
Elementary. We provide transportation to Snake
River elementary for a small fee.
