Introduction:
My family child care home has been continually
licensed by the State of NH Division of Health
and Human Services for the past twenty six
years. I have five years experience in a
public school setting, teaching Physical
Education to students in grades K-12. I give
the children in my care the opportunity to
learn in a family-like setting. Here they are
able to feel safe, loved and can continue to
build a positive self image in a mixed age
group. Child care supplements parental care by
providing for the continued development and
safety of children. It is necessary to have a
set of policy guidelines to protect the
children attending my child care home and to
provide continuity for children, parents, and
myself. Your questions and comments are
important so we can achieve the very best
experiences for your child. The policy

Home Daycare Details
Enrollment Process:
I will meet with prospective client parents in
an interview to see if their child and I are a
good match for my child care program. I will
issue paperwork to be returned along with a
signed contract and a deposit for 2 weeks of
enrolled tuition. This tuition will secure
your child's time slot from week to week and
will not earn interest.
Rest Area:
The children rest daily in the living room
area. Those children who do not nap will do
quiet activities in the kitchen following

Play Area:
The outside play area is a totally fenced in
back yard away from the street. There is a
circle cycle to ride which seats 5 children
ages 2-7 at one time. There is an 8 x 8 foot
sandbox for play. A 2 tower swing set with 2
slides, a climbing wall, rope ladder and seats
for 4 children to swing at one time is
situated in a bark mulch area in the backyard.
We also have a perennial vegetable garden and
raspberry patch.
Learning Area:
We use the child size picnic table in the
kitchen for snacks, meals, and table activity
time. This includes: cooking, baking; play
dough, painting (watercolor, tempera, and
finger painting), coloring or drawing with;
markers, colored pencils, crayons, a variety
of arts and craft projects involving scissors
and glue; table-top games; puzzles; counting,
shapes and color activities.
We also use the screened in r play porch with
the activity centers. View the play porch

Supplies Required:
Child must have a back pack which holds;
2 changes of clothing, appropriate weather
outside clothing
Children still in diapers must provide at
least 4 diapers daily along with any wipes
necessary for cleaning. Each pack should also
include a diaper pad for changing.
Parents are required to provide a nutritious
breakfast, if necessary, and a nutritious
lunch daily for their child.
