Hello, I'm Tricia. I am the 2nd oldest of five,
mother of 3, and Grandma to 3. I began my
career in ECE in the early 80's & opened my
home FCC in 1985. Children are our most
precious resource and I am honored to be able
to spend my days with them
About Us:
I truly believe that today's children are our
greatest resource, because they are the
future. They are so precious and valuable;
therefore, I will always do my best in caring for
your child.
My main goals are to keep your child safe, to
provide him/her with lots of loving care, and to
help him/her develop cognitively, physically,
emotionally, and socially. At Greatest
Resource you will find an open, nurturing,
learning based environment that supports each
child's differing abilities. Research has shown
that children learn through play and benefit
from a structured yet flexible schedule.
Activities designed to stimulate their senses
and natural curiosity, expand on their language
development and understanding and build their
fine and gross motor skills will be offered
daily. Social interactions, pre- writing and
reading skills, and pre-math concepts are also
a big part of our daily routine. Children will be
taught to respect themselves, each other,
adults, pets, and property.
I have an exciting program planned for the
children and encourage your suggestions,
comments, and involvement. I try to email
you our upcoming lesson plans every Sunday
evening. This email will explain the activities
and what skills they are enhancing or teaching
and will have the lyrics of the songs your child
will be singing. With this information you can
discuss your child's day as well as find things
at home that will expand upon what they are
being exposed to here at school

Home Daycare Details
Enrollment Process:
Enrollment is open to all children age 2.5
through 5 years of age, provided the program
can meet the needs of the child and space is
available.
The philosophy, goals, and policies of Greatest
Resource Educational Care as well as general
information concerning the child shall be
shared between parent/guardian and staff prior
to child's entry into the program.
The following forms, along with a two-week
non-refundable advance payment, and the
registration fee, must be completed and on file.

Completion of these forms and payment of
fees constitutes registration.
The two-week non-refundable advance
payment will be credited against the tuition
charge for the final two weeks that the child is
enrolled in the program. When withdrawing
your child from the program, a two week
notice insures that the advance tuition payment
will be properly credited and not forfeited.
Rest Area:
Enrolled children are assigned a cubby for
storage of their personal items. Greatest
Resource supplies each child a personal
blanket and sheet to prevent the spread of
germs. These are stored in a box in the child's
cubby. Children rest on 2' thick mats on the
floor and are a minimum of 3' from each
other. Barrier mats are provided in the event
any child has a cold and may inadvertently
spread germs while sleeping. Rest time is
from approx 12:30 to 2:00.
Play Area:
The entire downstairs is available for the
children to use with the 16'x18 family room
dedicated to just the childcare.
Learning Area:
Children learn while playing and freely
exploring their environment. Learning centers
are placed throughout the play area. Math,
literacy, dramatic play, construction,
manipulatives, etc are available all the time for
the children. Pictures are available on my web

Supplies Required:
All children require at least one full change of
clothes and a pair of indoor shoes or rubber
bottomed socks or slippers. Naptime *loveys*
and small travel size pillow is optional. Parents
must supply pull-ups or flushable personal
hygeine wipes if the child requires them.
Food Provided:
Breakfast is served until 7:20 and will consist
of a a bread item, fruit, and milk. Lunch is
served at 11:30 and will consist of a meat,
fruit, vegetable, bread, and milk. Snacks are
served at 9am and 3:30pm and will consist of
two different food groups. Water is always
available.
Transportation:
Greatest Resource does not transport children.
However, the bus stop for Litchfield Elementary
school is located on the corner within sight of
my house.
