Introduction:
Pam's Play Place is located in Centennial, CO. We are proud to be licensed by the State of CO since 1999. We belong to A Child's Choice Food Program and serve nutritious meals & snacks.

About Us:
We offer a safe, loving environment along with quality care, for your children. We are a family like yours. Your child's safety, comfort, and environment are important to us. With this in mind we want you to know we use only non- toxic cleaning products and disinfectants in our Child Care Home--which we special order for your family and ours. I am very happy to report that this has significantly cut down the number of illnesses in my child care families and ours since using these products. This provides the added benefit of safety to the loving, comfortable, and clean surroundings which keep your child happy and healthy.

Enrollment Process:
ENROLLING YOUR CHILD All child care available requires an interview with the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child. All child care forms including the immunization record must be returned a minimum of 24 hours prior to the first day of enrollment. This allows the provider time to review the child care forms.

Rest Area:
REST TIME All children 5 years and under will be required to lie down for a rest time each day. This will be a two-hour rest period, between 12:30pm- 3:30pm (depending on our morning activities). I will provide a suitable crib, play pen, cot or mat, a blanket or sheet and pillow (for children over 12 months). If you wish to provide a favorite blanket or sleep toy from home, it is fine. Please be sure to wash these weekly. I will not force your child to sleep but they must lie down quietly. If your child does not go to sleep, they may be given a book, puzzle or something else they can play with quietly.

Play Area:
OUTDOOR PLAY AREA The outdoor play area is fenced and kept clear of hazards that may injure your child. Children are also supervised during outside play. We will play outside in all types of weather, however extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, sleet may prevent outdoor play. Weather is only a factor for determining the duration of play. Please dress your child appropriately for each days weather.

Learning Area:
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM Preschoolers love to learn. My preschool program is designed to encourage children’s love of learning while preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. My preschool program features theme-based learning in age- appropriate discovery area environments. Hands-on sensory experiences help children understand concepts as we emphasize pre- reading, basic math concepts, and science inquiry. A small-group instruction style is provided and gives each child the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem, as well as important social skills like cooperation, problem solving, following directions and respect for others.

Supplies Required:
SUPPLIES Parents are responsible for supplying diapers, wipes, a full change of clothing, and any other supplies your child may need. I ask that parents bring a jumbo package of diapers and refill package of wipes (per child) at the beginning of each month. This should last your child for the entire month. All parents who have children who are not potty trained will need to supply wipes. If it becomes necessary for me to supply wipes or diapers for your child, reimbursement will be expected no later then your next payment date. Please have your child bathed and dressed for play. A clean child is a healthy child. I teach the children creativity, problem solving, and pride in their skills. Sometimes these values get messy. We will be painting every Tuesday so please send your child in old clothing on those days. Please dress your child for real success. If there is an occasion that calls for special clothing, please bring this clothing in an extra bag and I will help your child change before you arrive for pickup. Provider is not responsible for your child’s clothing or personal items brought into childcare home. I will let you know when I need more supplies for you child.

Food Provided:
MEALS AND SNACKS I am a participant in “A Child’s Choice Food Program”. Nutritious meals will be served to all children present at meal times. Meal times are as follows: · Breakfast will be offered to all children arriving early or between 8:00am and 8:30 am · Lunch will be offered to all children who are in attendance during the lunch period. · Dinner will be offered to any child in attendance at 7:00 pm · Snacks will be offered to all children in attendance. A snack and drink will be offered before your child’s pick up time. Provider will not serve or pack drinks when parents arrive for their children. If a child can not make it home without another snack or drink, parent(s) will need to have one packed for the child in their vehicle. If your child will be arriving after mealtime, you will need to feed them at home.
