Introduction:
We are a licensed childcare home in the Grandview neighborhood of Erie. We are near four great parks & within walking distance of the Erie rec center & library. Located off Hwy 8/Exit 232/Leon A Wurl, convenient to Boulder, Lafayette & Longmont

About Us:
Our small-group environment is very hands-on and nurturing. Your child will receive lots of one-on-one attention! We spend our days doing art, music, reading, ABCs, puzzles, counting, & lots of imaginative play. We have a daily preschool program with a new theme each week! We spend time outside each day. We focus on working well together, sharing, and treating each other with respect. I believe that children learn what they live and that they should be treated with kindness and dignity.

Enrollment Process:
Before you may enroll your child, we need to sit down for an informal meeting to discuss your needs and my policies. During this visit, it is ideal for both parents to be present as well as the child(ren).

Rest Area:
We have naptime from around 12:00-2:00 every day. Comfortable mats with sheets & blankets are provided for each child. Your child is not required to sleep, but is expected to rest or play quietly during naptime.

Play Area:
We have a great backyard with a fenced-in deck and a large playground. We also visit one of our neighborhood's four great parks often. We are planning a garden this summer which the kids will be able to participate in if they're interested! Inside we have a large variety of age-appropriate toys for the kids, along with books, puzzles and games.

Learning Area:
We do most of our learning at the table where we have a great learning board with our ABC's, shapes, colors & numbers. We do educational activities each day during our hour-long preschool program, with a different theme each week! We also do a theme related arts & crafts project everyday, as well as theme related circle time activities like singing songs and learning games.

Supplies Required:
You are not required to supply anything except diapers & wipes for your child if they are not potty trained. If they are still learning the potty, I need extra sets of clothing for them. It is helpful if you can provide a couple of sippy cups and bibs for your younger children, but not required.

Food Provided:
As a member of A Child's Choice food program, I provide nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks with lots of variety, and I buy whole-grain & organic whenever possible. I make fresh, tasty, homemade meals that are served family-style at the table. I believe that good nutrition in early childhood is a cornerstone to building life-long healthy eating habits.

Transportation:
We have a 7-seater minivan for times when transportation is needed. If your child is still required to be in a carseat, you may need to provide one on special days when we have a field trip. I have plenty of booster seats for the older kids.

School District:
We are in the St Vrain Valley school district. I accompany the kids to the bus stop down the street from us and meet them there in the afternoons. Because of our group size, I am not able to provide transportation to the schools except on an emergency basis.

Special Promotions:
We do not charge a registration fee! We also offer a multi-child discount of 10% off the second child & up.
