Introduction:
Hi my name is Amanda. I have doing daycare
for almost 1 year now and I love it! I decided
to start a daycare as a way to stay home with
my son. For me, this was a perfect fit because
I love kids and now I get the best of both
worlds!
About Us:
I am cpr/first aid certified. I am registered
and have taken many training classes! I live in
a nice neighborhood with a fenced in backyard
to play in. My house is smoke free. I love to
do crafts with the kids and work on letters,
numbers, colors, animals, etc! I understand
that choosing the right childcare is very
important, so I have put together a handbook
for you to look over. Please feel free to call

Home Daycare Details
Enrollment Process:
To get started I conduct all interviews in my
home so that each parent can see what kind of
environment their child would be coming into
everyday. If you choose to bring your child
here, and I decide it is a good fit I will have
you sign my contract, plus other necessary
forms!
Rest Area:
I have a designated nap room downstairs in
my daycare area. This way your child can
sleep in peace without the noise of other
children playing. Each child has a seperate
pack and play or cot to sleep on!
Play Area:
I also have a large play area in my basement
(finished). It is full of toys for children of
different ages. I believe in educational toys!
Learning Area:
The learning area is also in the play area. I
have a Finding Nemo table the children can sit
at and do crafts, learn numbers, etc. I have a
dry erase board on the wall above to the table
to write on.
Supplies Required:
The supplies each parent is required to bring
for their child are: Diapers, Wipes, any types
of medications (tylenol, etc.), Sun screen if
needed. Formula if bottle fed, and bottles.
Food Provided:
I provide all milk, drinks and food. I also
provide the baby food whenever your child
starts that.
Transportation:
I do not transport the children anywhere
because I believe it is an un-necessary
danger. However, I do have adequate
transportation in the event of an emergency.
