Hello,
My name is Jessica and I am a stay at home
mom of 2 boys. Before that I nannied for 12
years. I am licensed in Anoka County for child
care and run a small home daycare. I offer lots
of play space, age appropriate curriculum, food
program.
About Us:
We are located between the Andover High
School and The Andover YMCA. We have a
large backyard with fenced in playset, we're on
a quiet cul de sac for riding bikes, playing
scooters or kickball. We have all the
appropriate necessities for infants to
schoolage. We love to take walks to the park,
play sound bingo, bake cookies, color and
paint and every month we have a different
theme to follow while we learn at the same
time we have fun!! Jessica is a mother of 2
boys and has been married for 10yr

Home Daycare Details
Enrollment Process:
ENROLLMENT PROCESS
To enroll in Think Big Child Care parents must
have an interview with the provider, complete
the application packet and pay the non-
refundable application fee of $25. No
paperwork is given out until application fee is
paid. Think Big Child Care will maintain an
active waitlist when warranted.
During the enrollment process, you must
complete forms regarding your child's health
and development. Must be handed in with First
weeks payment 7 days prior to start date.
Rest Area:
Sleeping Bags are labeled with each childs
name and is used only for that child. They will
be washed every Friday.
Infants will be in a crib and toddlers up to age
2 will sleep in a pack and play in an upstairs
bedroom. I will sleep infants on their backs
according to the recommended guideline of the
SIDS and American Academy of Pediatrics
Foundation. If your baby needs to sleep on it's
stomach or in an unauthroized sleeping
arrangement, you must obtain a written
statement from your Dr.
Play Area:
We have a spacious house where we are all on
the same level of the house. We have 2 great
playrooms, a large backyard with fenced in
playset and plenty of riding toys and cul de sac
for playing as well. We have age appropriate
toys for ages 6 weeks to school age. I am
always switcing out the toys to keep it fun and
exciting. We have everything to keep their
mind engaged and exploring all their senses
and help to keep them growing and
developing!!
Learning Area:
We have monthly themes where we learn lots
of new things like our letters and numbers,
colors and shapes, month, days and weeks.
We explore community workers, zoo animals
and birds for example of one months theme.
We have lots of great art projects, hands on
exploration and even have cooking and baking
classes.
Supplies Required:
The following items are to be supplied for each
child and must be clearly labeled with the
child's name. 2-3 complete seasonal changes
of clothing, including socks, shoes and
underwear (if applicable) 4 complete seasonal
changes of clothing, including socks, shoes if
potty training Fall/Winter seasons: raincoat for
rainy days, snow boots, hat, mittens, snow
pants or snowsuit, and warm coat.
Spring/Summer seasons: swimsuit, towel,
water shoes or extra sneakers. Diapers or
training pants.
Food Provided:
Meals are an important part of the program.
Children sit together whenever possible to
foster positive social skills and healthy eating
habits. Mealtimes provide a rich opportunity
for learning about one another, furthering
friendships, and for language development.

Children are provided with breakfast, two
nutritious snacks and lunch daily along with
water or milk and occassionally juice. I try to
limit the amount of sugar served so juice with
less sugar
Transportation:
Even though I have taken a Car Seat and Child
Restraint class, I am not transporting at this
time.
School District:
I am across the street from Andover
Elementary School in Dist #11. A bus stop at
the end of the cul de sac.
Special Promotions:
Throughout the year Think Big Child Care will
host special events such as parent breakfasts,
holiday gatherings, and BBQs. Participation in
these events is voluntary but encouraged.
They are held to foster relationships, and to
provide a modality to celebrate the families
that make Think Big Child Care the great place
it is.
PARENTS NIGHT OUT AT Think Big Child Care
Parents Date Nights: I think it is so important
for parents to have a date night that I am
offering once a month date.
